Since the mid-1500’s piggy banks have been used throughout the world as a tool to teach the value of saving and mindful spending. The Feed the Pig program is building on that idea, but rather than mindful spending we are promoting the value of mindful giving. Every Saint Leo student is encouraged to make small manageable donations throughout the semester that will be brought together as a collective community effort to Support Change.

Keep an eye out for this BIG PIG, the official mascot of the Feed the Pig program, as he travels to various Saint Leo locations throughout the semester in search of food. 

 

Participate at the University Campus

Individual piggy banks were delivered to all resident halls and for pick up in the Community Center. Please love and care for your pig though out the semester by feeding him (or her) with your spare change and loose dollars.

Pig Round-Up: all piggy banks will be collected at Midnight Breakfast
